Perfume La Rose | Le Galion

Le Galion is a French perfume house founded in the 1930s, emblematic of an era when perfumery was experienced as a noble art, shaped by visionary creators. Its name, inspired by the great square-sterned sailing ships, immediately evokes the voyage, the breath of the open sea, the promise of distant horizons. An invitation to dream, to explore, to be free. In 1935, the house entered a new dimension when Paul Vacher, one of the most gifted perfumers of his time, became its owner. Already renowned for having created some of the great classics of French perfumery, Vacher brought to Le Galion the exactingness, the finesse and the eye for detail that distinguish the finest compositions. Under his direction, the house became a benchmark of Parisian chic: understated, refined, timeless.
